Cascade Clamp - Cascade Manufacturing Company was founded in Portland, Oregon in the year 1943. They began as a small machine shop in the beginning hiring 4 people. Sales for their initial year of operation totaled $60,000. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the machining and assembly of stainless-steel pipe fittings, valves and other components. Within 5 years of operation, the company had expanded to forty workers and their annual sales volume had increased to three hundred thirty thousand dollars. Now, Cascade is among the leading international producers within the material handling industry.
Design and manufacturing of the company's first hydraulic cylinder allowed this new business to aggressively engage in new business possibilities. All through the last sixty years, the trade of material handling has grown into a very sophisticated field with Cascade proudly playing a part in its growth. Cascade presently continues to develop as the premier provider of forklift attachments and different associated products. The business feels assured in their capability so as to continue to lead the way in the business by understanding client's requirements in the future and remaining competitive within the global market.
During the nineteen fifties, Cascade started to manufacture, design, and sell its hydraulic accessories.
